Most recently, Sam pastored Immanuel Downtown for six years, following seven years leading a church plant and earlier service as a worship pastor in a mainline denominational church. His doctoral research into adult meaning-making and congregational life informs 7Mile’s attention to leaders, relationships, and the conditions of formation.
