Receive
Pray with Scripture.
Read slowly. Notice a word or phrase, meditate on it, speak to God, and spend a little time in quiet. Read the passage in your own Bible or follow its Bible Gateway link.

In development
Engage Scripture, reflect on the life you are living, and choose a faithful response. 7Mile Practice is an app in development that supports this rhythm and helps you prepare for conversation with people you trust.
Receive → Reflect → Respond
Read the passage prayerfully, answer a reflection question, and choose one thing to put into practice. You can do the steps together or spread them through the day, taking the time you have.
Receive
Read slowly. Notice a word or phrase, meditate on it, speak to God, and spend a little time in quiet. Read the passage in your own Bible or follow its Bible Gateway link.
Reflect
Consider where the passage meets a real question, relationship, or responsibility. Optional writing gives you room to name what you notice without having to resolve everything.
Respond
Plan a practical response, then return to notice what happened. A conversation, a small change, or time to wait can become part of the encounter.
Inside the current prototype

A sample from the current prototype
Day 1 begins with Luke 24:13–35, the road to Emmaus. Its theme is listening before offering an answer.
What do you notice as Jesus listens, explains the Scriptures and shares a meal? Reread the words that draw your attention.
Think of a question you are asking or wrestling with. Who helps you stay connected while you think it through? What makes it easier or harder to speak honestly?
Think of a time someone asked you a question you could not readily answer. What did you feel responsible for providing? What would help you listen before offering an answer?
Make room for one unhurried conversation. Ask what is on the other person’s mind, and listen before deciding whether an answer is needed.
Everyday formation and leadership development are two contexts for practice, not levels of spiritual maturity.
Return and conversation
A weekly review helps you return to your notes. Choose the reflections, questions, or experiences you want to bring to a mentor, trusted friend, small group, or appropriate pastoral support.
Conversation preparation can be edited and downloaded for you to share yourself. The app does not send it to another person or arrange the conversation. Pause and return without streaks or overdue work.
Practice can be explored on its own, alongside theological study, or within your church’s existing discipleship life.
In development
We are preparing a month of study for launch, with Scripture encounters, opportunities for review, and time for rest and return. It is being developed to learn how an established live-group experience translates into an app.
It is not yet a public service. The local prototype is for sample-data testing, with notes stored in the same browser. There is no public account or sign-in, cloud sync, or announced launch date.
Our shared foundation
Consulting, daily practice, and theological education share a commitment to discipleship: participation in Christ through the practices, relationships, and shared life that form us.
